Mukurwe-ini Technical Training Institute

Phase 1 construction of a 500 plus student campus in Mukurwe-ini Sub-county, Nyeri County. It was a two-storey structure complete with auditorium and laboratories. It was part of the TVET (Technical vocational education and training) initiative the government implemented in order to help the youth acquire knowledge and practical skills for employment. Officially opened in a ceremony on 11 April 2015 by Deputy President William Ruto.

Challenges

These areas are generally difficult to access meaning careful planning has to be conducted from mobilising to site, equipment fuelling, staff accommodation among other considerations.
